We came here 6 years ago and had to come back to this gem. Awesome authentic food. It's off one of the main streets in Sienna, and lots of locals eat here. We had different pasta dishes, along with the Florentine steak, which is the best in the region. The service is the best as well. It's a must eat.
I visited this restaurant last summer, in a particularly hot day in July. I don’t know if it’s the position of the restaurant, or it just got a bit windy by dinner time, but we felt a refreshing breeze while dining outside, which was a great bonus to wonderful meal we had there.About the dishes - as many people already said here in reviews, pici con ragù di cinghiale is must try. We also had antipasto with local cheese, salume and prosciutto, everything was top quality. Now it’s my favorite place to have dinner while visiting Siena
The best restaurant at Siena. I go for more than 10 years now and remains amazing, with mouthwatering typical Tuscany recipes and top quality products. Gianni is a legend there, polite and generous with everyone.Try the Picci al ragù di coniglio, ragù al cinghiale and bisteccha al fiorentina.
Excellent food! We had the caprese salad, the truffle pasta and the ribeye steak. All three were incredible! Especially the truffle pasta. Highly recommend!
We are twice. If we had stayed for longer we would have eaten every day. Wild boar pasta. Must must must. Reservations is MUST else you will not get a seating. It was michealin a few years back..not micheal pricing though. They are brilliant. It's a MUST do at sienna.
We were late heading for dinner and found this place not too far from our apartment. Was quite busy but we were able to get a table inside. Family run restaurant and food was really good. I had steak (T-bone?) cooked rare and sliced. Wife had a mushroom pasta that was delicious.House white my wife enjoyed, house red was bit of a struggle but a huge wine list to choose from at reasonable prices. After dinner liqueurs just left on table to enjoy.Thank you!
Best food in all of Siena!! We had a delicious free salad and bread, a boar dish and a rabbit dish, and they were both exquisitely paired with Chianti wine! Look no further Wonderful service and authentic Italian food
Very good. We have a baby so we always end up ordering a pasta al ragu without high expectations, but this one was really really good (tagliatella al ragu di cinta senese). Also, we had the steak (costata di vitellone) which was absolutely delicious
